Corporate Services Problem Solving Strategies

Example #1: Multinational Technology Company budgeted 500 foreign employees to initially work in the United States for the following fiscal year. A Corporate Services consultant performed an initial analysis which determined a strategy to maximize L-1 and TN visa categories and to minimize H-1B beneficiaries due to H-1B Cap and to the significantly higher government filing fees associated with the H-1B petition. Corporate Services evaluated and recommended that over 100 L-1 petitions in lieu of H-1B petitions, saving the client $150,000 in government filing fees. In addition, the client was able to transfer those employees to the United States quickly, not having to wait until October 1st, leading to additional revenue opportunities.

Example #2: Leading Business Process Outsourcing client needed to send over 50 of its foreign employees to the United States to attend a 3-6 month training program. Corporate Services developed a strategy to process employees under the B-1 business visitor visa category utilizing its government contacts to ease the consulate application process and save over tens of thousands of dollars on government filing fees by avoiding H-3 and J-1 options.
