Speak with a Lawyer

Request a Consultation

Our standard* consultation fee is US$300. The consultation will be for as long as necessary to discuss your case, including follow up questions through emails. However, you should set aside at least 30 minutes for the initial consultation.

We credit the consultation fee towards additional legal fees if we are hired to handle your case.

We will contact you to schedule a consultation within one to two business days after you submit the request form. While most consultations can be scheduled quickly and conducted successfully via phone, we understand in-person meetings are at times desired. If you would like to schedule an in-person meeting at either our Toronto or Buffalo office, please indicate on the form.

Complete this form and either "submit" it or fax it to our office in Buffalo. Fields marked in bold are required to be filled out.

* If you are denied or refused entry at the border or airport, our consultation fee is US$500. Such matters are more complex and require significantly more time to develop a strategy to resolve your case.

Why I need a consultation

A formal consultation is necessary to provide us an opportunity to ask questions about your case, analyze your specific situation, develop a strategy and discuss your immigration options. If all we do is answer the questions that you ask, we might give you information that is true, but not necessarily relevant to your particular situation.

Furthermore, a formal consultation provides you an opportunity to communicate with us, compare us to other immigration professionals, and determine if you feel comfortable retaining us and paying our fees. We have found that the relationship between an immigration client and their law firm is unique in the field of law. While clients rely on us to deliver positive and timely results, even in the best case scenario, a glitch may occur with the government processing your case, and delaying the result. In those situations, you need to feel confident that we will continue to aggressively pursue the approval.

The consultation form may be completed to request a telephone consultation, or an in-person consultation in our Toronto or Buffalo offices.

All information supplied on this form will be kept strictly confidential.
